TOUCHDOWN CLUB MISSION STATEMENT
We are here to serve as a liaison between the parents, the players and the coaching staff. Our goals include organizing football events and keeping the parents up to date before and during the football season. We welcome any and all parent participation and suggestions.

Below is a listing of some of the services and support we provide to our players and the football program here as San Marcos High School. If you see an area that interests you, please don't hesitate to contact the parent organizing that area. We have listed them for you. |

BIG BLUE FEEDING CREW What it is: Game Day Lunches - We provide hot lunches to the players the day of their games. How it happens: We will enlist the support of local restaurants in our community to support our players by providing meals. We will then transport and provide items to make a complete meal. We prep, serve and clean up! What we need: CASH! We are always looking for cash donations to help supplement the meals we receive. We need to fund the supplies for drinks, salads, protein bars, napkins, plates, etc. If you can donate to our BIG BLUE FEEDING CREW, please contact us! VOLUNTEERS! If you are interested in helping one afternoon per week during football season, please contact us! |

VARSITY DINNERS What it is: Night before game dinners - A group of parents off campus will provide dinner to the players on Thursday nights for our Varsity team. How it happens: This is organized by parents off campus to support our varsity team and bring our varsity parents together in support of our fighting Knights. What we need: Varsity families interested in hosting a dinner one Thursday evening before game night. If you have an interest in hosting a team dinner, please contact Patty Hjort. If you cannot host a dinner but would like to support this group, please consider donating towards the cause! Contact Patty for more information. |

| SPIRIT
WEAR SALES What it is: Selling the football spirit wear during all home games to our families and fans. How it happens: Managing the merchandise sales for the football department on game day by setting up tables for sale and keeping an inventory of merchandise. What we need: Volunteers to manage the sales tables on game days. If you are able to volunteer to work the merchandise tables, please contact Patty and get scheduled! |

PROGRAM SALES What it is: Selling our football program at every home game to our families and fans. How it happens: We like to have a Junior Varsity parent manage the sales for the Varsity game and visa-versa. What we need: Volunteers again to help us sell the programs on game day. |

PLAYER PICTURE / ROSTER LANYARDS What it is: This is a fundraiser and an item parents or family members can purchase. It is a great keepsake of your sons involvement playing SMHS Knights Football! How it happens: This is a special item that is pre-sold to parents, girlfriends and family members of players. Any profit received goes back in to the football program. |

YEAR END BANQUET - We would like to organize
and host a year end banquet to honor our players, the coaches and
our football family here as SMHS. FUNDRAISERS - We are open to incorporating new fundraisers in to our program. Please bring your ideas and consider managing a fundraiser for our football program. |
If you would like to become a part of the
Touchdown Club and contribute in these areas, we would welcome the
support. There will be an information meeting scheduled after the June Blitz and volunteer sign ups. If you do not volunteer during June to participate, it is never too late. Please check back here to see our current lists of needs and opportunities. |
