The costs involved in running a successful football program are really high.  It may seem insurmountable; but we can all help bring excellence back to SMHS by working together and supporting our Knights.  Scrip does this easily, without costing you a dime.  All you need to do is commit to using scrip and our program will start getting the funding it needs to reach the level of excellence we want for our Knights!





The Scrip program is a hassle-free way for you to be able to raise funds to support your child in our program.  It is like buying a gift card.  You pay $100 for the card - you get $100 to spend - no money out of your pocket.  The company then donates a percentage back from that card to our program.  It's that easy!


There is no cost to sign up. Parents, teachers, friends, and families are encouraged to participate as supporters of the Scrip Program. All of the money you earn through Scrip will go directly to the football account to help defer the costs associated with football at SMHS.


YES!

You purchase "same as cash" gift cards and certificates.  You pay nothing extra, but receive a percentage back for every card you buy.  Everything from gas and grocery cards to vacations and restaurants are available!

We now offer "Presto-Pay" enabling you to purchase your scrip on-line.  If you are interested, please email Caren @ caren.football@smhsknights.org and she will give you the enrollment code.  Then, you simply log in to www.shopwithscrip.com and get started.  It's fast, it's simple, and it raises money for our program!

 There are very high returns on some scrip cards.  Please see the list to determine the amount you will get back from ordering Scrip.  The order dates are BELOW.  Once you get in to the swing of things, it is really simple.

It's the Law of Large Numbers!

The possibilities of generating a large sum of money for the football program lie in the participation of everyone. For example, if 150 football families just purchased their groceries with scrip, we could generate over $50,000 annually for the football program.

The calculation is simple:

150 families x $1000 monthly in groceries x 3% return = $54,000.

Imagine how much we could raise if we also purchased our gas with scrip?

It really doesn't take much of an imagination to see that, without donating any of our own money, we can allow our favored retailers to donate a portion of their proceeds from us to our football program.  These numbers depend on us using scrip year round.  Get started during football season and continue throughout the year!

SCRIP ORDER DATES

Guess What?  We are now offering 'Cash & Carry' at the games.  Find Caren, bring your checkbook, and buy your scrip at the football field!

 Caren will accept your orders anytime, but do note the order date deadlines and the date you will then pick up your scrip.  Order no later than the game on Friday, and receive your order the following Friday!  Easy.

We will soon be able to offer you 'cash and carry' scrip. 

Which means you will be able to purchase scrip on the spot and receive it at the same time for specific vendors (usually grocery stores & gas stations).  When this option becomes available, we will have a 'SCRIP SALESPERSON' available during games and at certain times for you to go buy your scrip from.   Stay posted!

Is your student on a gas allowance? 

Give them a gas scrip card instead of cash.  You then will know they are spending their money at the gas station and not at Santanas!

Restaurant, Mall, Retail store gift cards. 

Order them for Christmas!  Everyone likes these and it's simple.

Do you have a grocery budget?

 Buy your grocery scrip at the beginning of the month.  When it's gone, it's gone.  It keeps you on budget!

Electrician, Carpenter, Painter or in Construction? 

Home Depot and Lowes provide a great return on their scrip.  One family was able to donate over $1,000 to our cheer program just by using scrip for their remodeling project!

Going on Vacation?

Several hotels, airlines, cruise lines and resorts give REALLY HIGH RETURNS when you order scrip.  The Marriott gives back over 10%!
