About Me:

I moved to the U.S. in 2001 from Bath, England.  I have been married to Rachel for 9 years, and we have two children, Henry and Rosie.  I have been teaching at San Marcos High since 2004; this has been my first full-time teaching job – I teach freshman and sophomore English.  I enjoy bird watching, reading, cooking, Middle Eastern politics, and spending time with my family.  I am a closet lover of techno and 80’s music.  My goal is to return the Lady Knights to the glory days of the 1970’s and 80’s.  As a coach, I obviously want to win, but I also want to have fun and give the girls an experience that they will remember with great fondness.

Coaching Experience:

2002-03: Head Varsity Coach, Rancho Buena Vista HS 2003: North County Times Coach of the Year

2004-present: Head Varsity Coach, San Marcos HS

2003-05: Assistant Coach, Futures (San Diego Region) 2006-07: Head Coach and Site Director, Futures (San Diego Region U16s)

2006: California U16 Coach at National Futures Championship (Bronze Medallist) 

Playing Career:

1992-1994: Monkton Combe School

1995-2000: Van Mildert College (University of Durham)

2000-2001: City of Bath

2001-present: Occasional participant for International Field Hockey Club of San Diego

Years Coaching: This is my second year.

About Me:

Let's see...I'm pregnant with twins and I am due in January.  I work as a pre-school teacher full time and I also go to school full time.  I look forward to coaching this group of girls and I'm so excited to be coaching this year =)

Coaching Experience:

I coached Futures for a year, and this is my first time coaching a high school team.

Playing Career:

I played all throughout middle school, and I play varsity for my last 3 years in high school.  I also played Futures as well on some club team in San Diego and Arizona.
