Welcome to another season of sports at San Marcos High School!
We are looking forward to and are excited about the opportunity to help
your student grow academically, athletically, and towards becoming
a successful adult.
Since research indicates a student involved in extra curricular
activities has a greater chance for success during adulthood, our
athletic programs have been established. Parenting and coaching
are extremely difficult vocations. By establishing an
understanding of each position, we are better able to accept the actions
of the other and provide a greater benefit to the children.
As parents, when your students become involved in our program, you
have the right to understand what expectations are placed on them.
This begins with the clear communication from the coach of your child's
team.
To help facilitate the communication between coach and
parent, we have established this website for you. On our
site, you will find sport information and schedules, team
rosters, calendars and your respective coaches contact
information should you need further assistance.
Our goal is to unite with you to create a well rounded
athlete and student. Our website is one of the many tools
to help us mutually succeed. The benefits will be better
communication and optimal information for your athlete, you, and
ultimately our teams will reap the benefits.

Scott
Eugene Roberts, 16 Beloved son, brother, grandson, and nephew.
CARLSBAD -- Scott Eugene Roberts tragically passed away too soon
on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Scott was born on February 27, 1993
in San Diego, and was the beloved son of Ursula Kennedy Roberts
and Steven Roberts. Scott loved football, wrestling,
skateboarding and video games. He hated his dad's cooking. He
lived a short life but touched so many as he lived. He was a
quiet, gentle and loving young boy who was devoted to his family
and friends. He had just completed the 10th grade at San Marcos
High School. His friends will miss him so much. He is survived
by his father and mother, Steven and Ursula of Carlsbad; and
sisters, Samantha and Kelly Roberts, also of Carlsbad.
